Asia Argento, a blonde-haired girl raised as a nun, used her Twilight Healing rings to heal people as part of her service to the Catholic Church. Her kindness led to her downfall when Diodora Astaroth injured himself and had Asia heal him, resulting in her excommunication. After moving to Japan, Asia befriended Issei Hyoudou, but was abducted by Raynare. Raynare removed and stole the healing rings from Asia and then killed her. Following a lengthy battle, Rias Gremory revived Asia as a devil, making her a bishop in her service. Despite her new devil identity, Asia still possessed the Twilight Healing rings as her Sacred Gear, though her faith caused her headaches when she prayed or read the Bible.
